About FOTC

Our Story, Our Mission

Since 2008, Friends of the Caribbean has been at the heart of the Milton Keynes Caribbean community — improving life chances and celebrating our rich heritage.

Who We Are

A Local Charity Making a Global Impact

Friends of the Caribbean is a local charity established in 2008 whose primary objective is to promote cultural, social, educational, health and economic activities among our community in the Milton Keynes area and the wider UK and Caribbean region.

We gained full charity status in 2010 and have been growing ever since. Where possible, we act as an umbrella organisation for existing UK Caribbean Diaspora groups, providing a unified platform for communities to connect, collaborate, and thrive.

Our work focuses on promoting the benefit of the public — particularly members of the Caribbean community in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas — through education, health promotion, cultural preservation, and community development.
